We are utilizing Jira Service Management for clients to log issues. We then need to take those issues and work them on various boards for the specific team that needs to work them. I have created a classic Jira Software project for our data team to work their issues. I have created a board with a filter that only shows their issue types from the Service Desk project and added that to the board however when I try to pull an issue from the backlog to the board it will not stay. It disappears no matter the status. I did make sure the projects have the same workflow but not sure why they won't "stick" on the board.
Hi Katie,
When you "move the card from the back to the board", what status are you actually moving it to? And how are you moving it?
Is that status mapped to the first column of the board?
Does the card actually move to the new status? If not, are there conditions and/or validators that might be preventing that?
first how are you associating a JSM issue to a JSW project? linked issue, clone (yuck) move (2x yuck), or simply displaying the JSM issue on your SW board via filter?
Can you share the board's filter?
