Jira Software - link already existing branches to issues

Good day to everyone

I am quite new to Jira software, just getting there

I see that I can create brunches from issues (Jira is connected to bitbucket)

- which is great.

But I wonder, if I can link already existing branches to particular issues.

THanks in advance for any ideas!
