Is it going to be FREE forever or just for the period when it is in 'BETA' stage ?

I'm excited to announce that we have released public apps Jira Server mobile apps on iOS and Android. 

This will be a FREE app for Server and Datacenter users.

We are disappointed to see that though the beta version worked with Service Desk, the new release does not? It only works with Software? We were using the Beta with service desk and really miss/need the functionality.

We're in the same boat.  It was working fine, updated to 8.3 and now no Service Desk projects so it's become useless.

Please add the Service Desk projects to the upcoming versions. Without them the app is not much of use.

I've voted on this in the service portal, but want to comment here as well. This is a MAJOR issue for our organization. We moved to ServiceDesk specifically for it's integration with Jira Software, but our users rely heavily upon mobile. When can we expect the ServiceDesk functionality to be released/improved?

My guess, but who knows...

It will be free as you pay for the server/data center license.
