Jira Structure does not show initiatives without Epics below.
why?
Hi, @Sofia Foradoula. There are a number of reasons why this may be true.
First, assuming this is a dynamic structure, Structure for Jira will display (or not display) your issue hierarchy based on the Automation rules that were used to build it. Hint: you can view the automation rules, which may be hidden, with the Automation button shown here:
Also, if someone shared the structure with you using a Perspective link you are seeing things as they intended. You can change the view to suit your needs using Transformations. They transform existing structures with additional rules that help you visualize things the way you'd like to see them.
But this is just speculation at this point... There are other reasons why you may be seeing Initiatives with their Epics. And many different ways you can visualize things the way you'd like to see them.
Perhaps you can share a screenshot of your structure with the automation rules visible (as I did above)?
Or, you can contact us via structure@almworks.com and we'd be happy to set up a Zoom call to help you sort things out.
I hope this helps,

Hello Sofia,
I'm posting an update here just in case if anybody else encounters a similar issue: the Initiatives were missing because of one of the Filter generators - it was removing everything that didn't match its JQL query, including the Initiatives. Changing the query fixed the matter.
Best regards,
