Hi Team,

I'm encountering an issue while implementing Jira Cloud integration using OAuth 2.0 (3LO) authorization.

When users go through the consent process, they select a specific Jira cloud instance. However, after receiving the access token and querying the /oauth/token/accessible-resources endpoint, I'm getting multiple cloud sites returned with no indication of which one was specifically chosen during consent.

This creates a problem because:

  • I need to connect users only to their specifically selected Jira site
  • All returned cloud IDs have identical scopes, preventing filtering by permissions
  • Neither the access token response nor the accessible-resources response indicates which site was selected

Could you please advise:

  1. Is there a way to identify which specific cloud ID was selected on the consent screen?
  2. If not, is this the expected behaviour, and what would be your recommended approach besides asking users to select their site again after authentication?

HI @Rinku Ravi ,

There's a similar  topic and answer in the Atlassian developer community about what can and an't be done.

Here's the link:

Hope this helps.
