Jira Time Tracking report being not accurate

Hi all,

Recently I figured out that when I try to generate a report using Jira Time Tracking Report in the Project Reports section, gives a wrong number if compared to the report using Apps -> Universal Report -> Work Logs.

I did some research but couldn't come up with an understanding of this discrepancy.

I'm not sure why there would be a discrepancy but one potential solution is to use a 3rd party Agile Intelligence tool like minware - no manual entry / timekeeping is required, we automatically calculate and provide this information.

Here's an example task:

You can see that we currently calculate the effort in days (2.7 in blue) but we could very easily convert this to a smaller unit like hours if that would be helpful.

Hey @Olga Mocan - curious if you were ultimately able to solve here? You may be interested in the updates that we've made to our Predictive Roadmap -- in the screenshot below you can see the projected completion dates for future work in green. You can clearly see when the projected completion date is past the due date using the gray milestones: 

You can drill all of the way down to the sub-task level from this view and use the velocity scalar to project a best / worst case scenario for completion dates.
