Jira User mapped to Team without a Jira custom field

Is there a Jira Software Datacenter capability or Atlassian Marketplace add on that supports the following use case.

Jira Software Datacenter options to associate Jira Users to a data element called Team without establishing a Jira Issue custom field.

We would want to map all of the Jira Users to a Team, for example;

John Doe is mapped to the “Engineering Services” team
Debbie Doe is mapped to the “A-Team” team
Joe Doe is mapped to the “Developers Z” team
Frank Dow is mapped to the “Developers Offshore” team

When a Jira Issue is created and a Jira user assigned to a Jira Issue as the assignee of the Jira Issue, we would automatic know what team the Jira User is mapped to as the Jira User has been mapped to a specific team.

Please provide if there is an option to incorporate this use case of if there is a supported Atlassian Jira plugin that is available in the Atlassian Market place or from another software provider.
