I was just wondering if there is an out of the box way of creating a new issue within a transition for Jira Cloud?

Hey Allen,

ScriptRunner for JIRA is available for Cloud. I personally do not have experience using it on Cloud, but this is definitely something you could do on Server. You might have to experiment or contact the team at Adaptavist to find out more.
