Hi there!
We want to integrate the creation of Change Request (Change Management) in the Manage Engine Service Desk via a custom button in Jira.
Right now we have a webhook that runs while we click on the Release button and choose data.
Then webhook runs a script that creates a Change Request in this Service Desk system.
We have created a custom button.
And now we are trying to find a solution on how we can create a Change Request via this CAB button.
I see two possible ways:
Performing a function similar to the Release button: when pressed, you must select a date and then the release goes, for example, to the Updated status. After that, Webhook is triggered, which will run the apache script on the server.
When you click, select the date, then change the status to Updated, for example, and immediately hang the script, without Webhook.
Maybe somebody could advise on how we can configure the first way or a second way or maybe advise another solution for this case.
Thanks.
Hi @Alexander ,
we're starting to work on a new app to integrate Jira with MESD.
