Hi Nevra,

Yes, it's absolutely possible to integrate Jira with the free tier of Slack. Check out marketplace apps for Jira.

If you have Automation for Jira (with Jira Service Desk), it is likely to do a lot of what you want, otherwise check out other Slack connectors, e.g. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216557/slack-jira-integration?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
