Jira automation doesn't work for only one ticket.

Berat ÇOLAK September 30, 2021

Hi,

We publish our tickets to another application from Jira. We created an automation for this and determined the conditions. According to the conditions, the ticket should be able to be published, but the publish transition button does not appear in one ticket but on other tickets and newly opened tickets, there is a publish button.

Why might we have encountered this problem for only one ticket?

Thanks,

Berat.

Hi @Berat ÇOLAK

I suggest that you review your automation rule and its audit log, comparing them to the details of the Jira issue which does not process.  That should reveal what is happening, such as the issue not meeting certain rule conditions.

If you are still unable to uncover the cause, please post images of your complete rule, the audit log showing executions which work and do not work, and explain why you believe the issue should have processed.  That context will help the community to offer ideas.  Thanks!

Kind regards,
Bill

Impossible to say with details on your automation and the ticket in question.
