In a Jira Business Project (not Jira software) I use the built-in Board view.
Previously when I selected "Group by" - the cards - by Assignee, the columns were in alphabetical order, in the order of the names of the Assignees.

But currently the columns are displayed in random order, so not in alphabet. It's hard to understand who (which assignee) is displayed first and last.

This is a bit annoying on a daily standup, when we use this grouping and go by person.

Hi Tamas, welcome to the community!

In your image, I see the columns in alphabetical order. The only problem is you are the first one, and you shouldn’t. I’m  guessing this is because of the filter applied at the top of the board, for your tasks.

Could you try removing it? If that doesn’t work, please share the other filters applied to the board (there’s 2 indicated in “Filter”).

No, I've tried it and no filter is applied to my user, that highlight colour (what you noticed) indicates only that I'm online on this board.

When I click on my avatar, then it changes the highlight and filters to my tasks, so the filter function works, but I don't use it by default. The order of the columns is the same anyway, so I don't think this User filter interferes.

I've checked other boards, and the problem is the same. My user is always the "first" when I group by assignee...

Hi @Tamas Tompa

As part of the recently released changes described in Create and save multiple board views in business projects the assignee columns were changed to show the current user in 2nd position by default. This is to make it easier for users quickly see and manage their work items.

However, you should be able to reorder columns to your preference and also save them for other users if you are a project admin.
