Jira email notifications stopped

I have not been receiving email notifications since last year April, however I do receive notifications via the Jira mobile application but this is not my preferred mode. I have tried everything with help of my colleagues, with no joy.

I do not have access to the Notification helper as I am not admin. I have noticed that since I was added to another project, this problem started. Please can someone help me as I really need to get this sorted.

Have you connected with your Jira Admins to have them check Notification Helper to see if you should be getting notifications?

Are you using Jira Cloud or Jira Server/Data Center?

If Jira Cloud, are you working with Company Managed projects or Team Managed projects?

Your email may have gotten blacklisted on the Atlassian side. You (or your Jira Administrators) should open a support case directly with Atlassian to find out if that is the case and get it resolved if it is.
