Jira filter on all work items except work items with custom field value of xyz

So I'm looking to get a list (filter) of all work items (for example stories and bugs) except work item (bug) with custom field value of 'Xyz'.

Is there any way to do a query like that?

I have ScriptRunner installed.

shouldn't need SR. try to create a JQL something like this....

project = abc and issuetype != bug or (issuetype = bug and "my custom field" != Xyz)

Try

issuetype in (story, bug) and not ( issuetype = bug and my-custom-field = Xyz)
