Jira for New Microsoft Teams has broken widget formatting when pasting a Jira URL
4 Months ago, I posted this post regarding a visual bug in the Jira Cloud MS Teams app, which has yet to receive a response. If I can get a response there please, as this issue still exists, that would be great :)
Since then, our organisation has moved to the "New MS Teams". This carried over my link to Jira Cloud, which I only use to get the fancy widget when pasting a Jira Cloud URL. I installed the "New MS Teams", and now when I paste the Jira links, the widget is broken differently:
With this broken widget, you cannot backspace from the right side of the widget or at the end of the text preceding it to delete it. You have to either send the message with this broken widget inside, or delete the hyperlink so it doesn't appear. Neither are good, as the widget looks terrible for everyone (still functional), or I lose the connectivity to the issue I'm referencing.
