Is there a way to set a dark theme - like most modern apps have - on the Jira apps without having to pay extra money to some app in the marketplace?

I'm not sure the company I work for is willing to pay just for me, but I can pay for myself if I can set this dark theme on the companies project.

Is it possible?

Jira does not have any theming functions itself.

There are some apps that can mess with the display enough to do theming, but these are server only.  There are a couple for Cloud on the marketplace, but they are based on browser extensions.

If you're happy to do it that way, you might be better off looking to the browser's extension marketplace, but either way, bear in mind that Cloud's code can change without warning at any time, which could break the theming extension.  I'd expect extensions/apps in the Atlassian marketplace to be updated when that happens, less so for the browser marketplace

Hi @davola !

Well... there is a marketplace. Some are paid some are not.

Check this one:
