Jira notifications to group of users

Use Case :- . We are needing to alert the members of our team when a Jira issue is created?

Lets says User 1,2,3

How to make sure all three users get notification when new issue is created ?

Here were some options I explored ?

1) I can create a new group and modify notification schema. But notification schema is shared across multiple projects? So want to avoid that options

2) Is there any way to add these users to default watcher list for all issues created i this project ?

3)Can I have a component lead as group and have a default assignee as group ?

Hi Ron,

It would be best to go with option 1. 

1. Create a copy of the current notification scheme.
2. Change the name to match your project.
3. Associate this new notification scheme with your project.
4. Make the necessary modifications.
