Jira overwrites issue text with template

Hello All,

Hope you all are doing good:)

I have question that, we have configure the behavior script for the field " Description" whenever the issue type is Bug. So far the script working fine, but we are facing the issue like whenever  we  are trying to create the issue after filling the data in the create issue screen entire data was wiping off if we miss to fill the fields which are mandatory like Summary, Affects version/s etc. This unexpected behavior is happening for all the issue type including Bug. Expected behavior should remind the fields that are missing to be filled in order to create the issue.

Its seems no one faced the same issue before  so far. That's good to hear that. Here we go there is an open bug from adaptavist Script runner https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2843

Which may help you for all in future if you are facing the same.
