Jira page refresh after every field visibility change on Field Config Screen

Hello Jira Admins,

In the effort to streamline the field configs and config schemes - I want to set the visibility of the fields that I plan to use in the new config scheme. I noticed that every change be it be show/hide - refreshes the page and places the focus on top of the page. And we have a huge list of fields. I was wondering if there in easier way to do this.

Also, I noticed there is no option to start from a clean state to add what is needed.

Appreciate any pointers.

Not really, perhaps make the changes with the REST API?

You can create a new Field Configuration, which will start from scratch
