Jira portal integration with company Sharepoint intranet page

Hello, we have a Sharepoint intranet site and would like our staff to raise calls directly into Jira via the portal.  We have looked at the widget but we do prefer the look and feel of the portal.

As I am a beginner at both Sharepoint and Jira, I'd like to know if there is a beginners guide to getting the portal to display when navigating to a specific Sharepoint intranet page.
