Jira software sync is working only one way

I am using Freshservice software to integrate Atlassian Jira, The tickets created inside Freshservice are linked with the ticket in Jira. The status updates and comments from Jira are being added inside Freshservice tickets, but when I change the status in Freshservice or add comments, the changes are not being translated to Jira.

I have checked the API token to be that of the Admin. Any idea why the sync works only one way?
