We are transitioning from sever to cloud, and in the meantime we are using a trial license. When applying the trial license it sits at the "updating license key..." screen indefinitely.
So far I have tried rebooting the server, trying from different browsers, incognito mode, enabling safe mode for 3rd party apps (https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/cannot-apply-license-to-jira-1064078593.html), and regenerating the trial key. Our confluence instance had no issues applying. Any help would be appreciated.
In case anyone comes across this, the resolution was to ask Atlassian to regenerate the key. Once they did, it accepted the new key instantly.
