Jira sync with QC

Hi

i'm Syncing Jira Project with QC, 

I want to sync the Defect ID to JIra custom filed, the problem is that Jira don't have a number Field (just Float) so the Synchronizer give me an error and barking the sync.

Does any one here done that in the past?

How can i identify the Bugs that were created in Jira from QC sync and not manually?

The defect ID should really be a string - try a short text field instead.

What tool are you using to sync? Is it a JIRA add-on? If so which one?
