as part of a course i took i have a task to do 

1. At Story, Task and Bug level, when moving to “In-Progress” user must enter epic link.

i would like to know what is the solution and what is the way to do it ? is it from workflow with screens and validators or is there other way

Hi @Artem Snisar 

Yes you could use the 'Fields Required' validator in your workflow, specifically on a transition to the In Progress status to ensure a user has fulfilled the epic link field.
