Jira tasks are no longer possible from Confluence

IT-Support July 15, 2020

Hello everybody,

the "Create JIRA Issue" function, which you can use to create tasks in the backlog from Confluence, is currently not working. Could you please tell us why and what should be done.

I thank you in advance
Best regards

Hello @Adriano D_Antona

Thank you for reaching out.

Using the google translator to check the description of the error returned to you, the pop-up message states that the current version of your Jira Server is not supported, suggesting you to upgrade to a newer version. Is that correct?

If your current Confluence and Jira applications are up to date, the error above usually happens because of the following Confluence bug:

Unable to create Jira issue from Confluence page due to unintended cache

Please follow the documentation below to properly diagnose if that's the root cause of the problem and properly workaround the error:

Unable to create Jira issue from Confluence page due to unsupported Jira version error

Additionally, please vote and watch the bug to increase its priority and also receive notifications about its fix implementation.

Let us know if you have any questions or if the steps of the documentation did not work to avoid the error.
