We are trying to integrate one of our systems with Jira using Zoho Flow/Zapier. However, we have one issue which is preventing us from continuing. At present, Jira’s connection protocol for the 'Issues' data table requires that a project be specified as part of the connection. This, in effect, means that a separate connection must be manually generated for each new project created. This is unworkable. Is it not possible for a single connection to cover all project creations, as is the case for the other Jira data tables?

@Callum.statham

Welcome to the Atlassian Community

May I know how you are integrating with Jira?

R u directly connecting to the Jira DB?

If you require a Project for connection then why don't you fetch all project first and then use those project for connect and to fetch the issues.

You can also use the REST API to connect with Jira which is more easier way

Hi @Sachin Dhamale

No we are using Jira cloud.

If you require a Project for connection then why don't you fetch all project first and then use those project for connect and to fetch the issues.

we are trying to integrate this with Zoho Connect but we are limited on what we can do.  For example the Issue Created function we have access to does not contain a Project ID field. We have to manually assign the Project to each issue.

Is this limitation on Zoho or is it a Jira issue?
