Jira upgrade with H2 Database on Same server

Hi All,

We are planning to upgrade current production JIRA which has database H2 from 6.5 to 7 to latest.

Due to H2, rather than upgrade it should be Migrate as per Atlassian document. Could you please guide us the right approach with steps. I referred couple of blogs towards this.

Your production system should not be running on HSQL or H2. 

Please, get a supported and stable database (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle or MS-SQL) and migrate to that, then upgrade, from 6 to 7.0, then 7.latest.

HSQL and H2 fail catastrophically, without warning, and are totally unsuitable for production use.  On top of that, there is no upgrade route from 6 to 7 when using them.
