When submitting a ticket from Zendesk, the system throws an exception -
Failed to retrieve JIRA issue key.
(java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "ZendeskID")
ZendeskID = custom field added to Default project schema.
Unless this was a one-off occurrence, it is going to take some research on your account to figure out what is going on. If you open a support request, we can get the necessary info about your accounts (JIRA OnDemand and Zendesk) and track down the problem.
