Natively, you may write a JQL by providing the parent's issue key like this:
key = JSWSERVER-8942 OR parent = JSWSERVER-8942
If your instance counts with ScriptRunner, then you'll be able to use one of its JQL functions to avoid having to provide an issue key.
Please, let us know if that's the case, so that we can assist you further.
By the way, is it a Cloud or a Server instance?
