Kanban board - Issue Details frame not displaying issue clicked on

For one particular JIRA project, when users go to the Kanban board and click on an Epic in the one of the columns, the displayed issue flashes but will not always change to the issue clicked on. There are about 4 or 5 issues which it will consistently respond correctly to, however for all the others it will either stay blank, if none have been successfully looked at, or stay as the issue that had previously been open.

Eg. I can click on PO-271 and it'll show PO-271, however if I then click on PO-556, it'll still show PO-271. If I want to see PO-556, I need to right-click on its number and select "Open Link In New Tab/Window".

I have not come encountered any other JIRA Projects in our system encountering this problem.
