Kanban or Scrum for visualising Tasks and Subtasks

Dear All,

Newbie hoping for some advice. We have repeated HW integration tasks which need to be completed by certain dates. Each of these tasks takes weeks/ months and have various pre requisites which need to be completed in order that the HW integration can be carried out. Up to now I have defined each HW integration as a TASK and the pre requisites as sub tasks (which are assigned to different team members). This has worked well.

Now I want to show the progress of preparation for each integration. What would you recommend ?

I'm not using epics and subtasks don't seem to be well suited to scrum. So should I use kanban ? Or would you simply use dashboard pie charts to visualise the progress ? Or some other way ?
