After upgrade my Jira Server to 7.7.1 LDAP User Authentication fails.

-Upgrade from: 7.4  to: 7.7.1

-Internal Users are loggin just fine.

-Synchronization fine

- No errors,

- All settings correct

- I removed AD from directory, add it again - no joy

- Error: Sorry, your username and password are incorrect

Anyone can help with that?

Did you see any errors from the log file (both catalina and atlassian)? It is little difficult to troubleshoot without some logs. To me, upgrading the JIRA from above versions won't make any changes to the system. It should work as is unless if you make any changes to LDAP configuration.

Did you see the users exists in JIRA before trying to login? Is this effected to single user problem or to all LDAP users?

What is the order of directory in JIRA? Try making LDAP directory as first preference and check again.

You might need to enable Debug mode to see more errors / messages in the log.

You may also generate LDIF export of any LDAP user and check if all configs are correct(BASE DN, DN, groups, domains etc). does the LDAP user member of groups in multiple domains?  These are some pointers might help.

Hey,

Thanks for your answer.

The problem is resolved now - we upgrated on dev where users ldap are different that prod or test, silly me not checking this at the first place.

Best regards,
