License needs to match jira tier?

On post-evaluation, we just upgraded our JIRA and Confluence licenses to 50 users. We have a 10 user license for Gantt-Chart, however it says it is now imcompatable with our JIRA. There are at most, 3 users who would ever use the Gantt-Chart Project add-on. Do I need to upgrade this to 50 users to use it? That would be more than our upgrade to JIRA and Confluence combined!

Ron, the answer for your questions is yes. You'll have to update the  Gantt-Chart license to match with JIRA license as well in order to make it work.

Hi Ron,

I'm afraid, yes. Plugins have - as far as I know - always to match with jira/confluence tier.

But you could contact the plugin developers and describe your problem. Maybe they'll help you.
