Licensing Data Center to Server licence

Hi, 

I am currently running the Data Center licence on 1 server, on the trial plan. 

I realise that the Server licence plan covers our needs. 

Can I just buy a Server Licence to apply to my current installation or do I have to go through a new installation ?

Hi @Francis OTSHUDI,

Does Server also cover your requirements in a couple of months? Jira is known for becoming a mission critical toolvery fast and it is my opinion that a proper infrastructure (DC) is part of that.

If I'm not mistaken then your Data center installation is slightly different then server and simply changing the license doesn't work. My advise would be to do a clean server installation and restore your Jira backup into that one.
