Limit Epic Link Search for a particular Project

Hello All,

I am a Jira Admin and I have a project in Jira with no Epic IssueType. But I have Epic link field in that project which has to show only Epic's from one particular project. I did a lot of research and could not find a solution for this. Is it possible to do this with Script runner or any other way.

You could disable editing, provide a transition with a screen where you set the epic link, and then have a validate in the transition.

@KartikA, like Boris said the validator is the way to go.  I don't think it's possible to restrict the epic link options.
