Limit Epic Status with Status of its linked Tasks

We want to limit the transition of epic from open to resolved with the status of its linked issue.

That means only all tasks linked to this epic closed, then the epic can be closed.

Is it possible to do this within the workflow?

We are using Jira cloud.

Hi @Olive Sun,

Natively in Jira you cannot (afaik). The only way I know is using third party add-on (i.e: scriptrunner) or build your own add-on where you could check if all linked issues are done.

Scriptrunner is a very good solution, but building your own add-on is not a complex process, but of course you need to build your logic from scratch.
