Limit drop down options of custom field based on another custom field value

We are looking to find a way to limit options for custom field based on the value of the another custom field instead of having too many options to select.  I think it's not possible out of the box. Is there any add-on that helps to fulfil this ?

Hi Bharath,

There is not a way to do this in Jira Cloud natively with two different.

The closest thing would be to use an add-on like ProForma Forms which will allow you to show different lists for one field depending on the values in another field.

The other option would be to create a custom field with the Select List (cascading) field type. Then you can have certain values in the main field and show different values in the secondary field based on the selection in the main field.
