Limit issue placement to the sprint's scope only

Maroun Maroun February 18, 2023

I'm using Advanced Roadmaps, and I have two problems (I'm using sprint dates in my scheduling configurations):

  • I can drag issues (stories, subtasks within an epic) to whichever dates I want. I want to limit selection to match sprints' scope only
  • I don't see the sprint updates when I move the issue from the timeline

In the above image, you can see the most bottom issue, which starts at some point inside sprint 29, and ends inside sprint 30. I was expecting the selection to be limited to sprints only, as a story is bounded to a specific sprint.

Another example:

What's the meaning in this case of setting an issue to "random" date that's not bounded to a sprint? How to make sprint update when I move issues in the timeline?

Am I missing something?
