Limit selectable values for fix version and affects version fields

Since Fix Version and Affects Version fields both map back to the Version field in project settings, is there a way to limit the selectable values for fix version and the selectable values for affects version within a specific project?

I would be using a different set of values for each field, and need a way to limit the values.

No, there isn't a way to restrict the values that each of these fields use. They are both pulling from the same set of values.

Although if you archive a value, you will no longer be able to add it to issues (issues having it will retain it)
