Limiting access to work log for a project user

Zofia Safteruk-Przybysz June 15, 2020

Hi,

I use the "Time Reports" plugin (https://www.primetimesheet.net/timereports/) and this is for next-generation projects.

I would like to create a project role with permission to collaborate on the tickets, but not able to see the work log and in particular, any time reported on the tickets.

How can I achieve this?

Thanks,

Zofia

Hi Zofia,

Please see https://primetimesheet.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/327721/Configuring+permissions

Note, in case of Jira Cloud, it might be worth of choosing Time Reports provided Time Tracking Provider, as described at https://primetimesheet.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/1012006921/Should+Time+Tracking+provider+setting+be+changed, so that users don't see Worklog tab in issue view.

Alternatively, you can use jira Workog Visibility option, and you can setup default visibility within the Time Reports, see https://primetimesheet.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/blog/2020/02/27/949583873/Worklog+Visibility+for+Log+Work+popup for some information.

Thank you.
