We use Tempo Timesheets and Budgets, and we currently specify the max billable hours for a task in a text field of an issue as guidance to the end user to not log billable hours past a certain point on a task.
But people being people, and because Tempo tries to default ALL hours to billable hours when logging time, log more than the allowed billable hours.
So I want to be able to restrict the billable hours entered on a task, without restricting total number of hours logged against a task.
Example
8 hours billable time budgets on a task.
A user could log 12 hours of time, but only log up to 8 as billable hours.
I'm open to any suggestions, including scriptrunner options, workflow checks, etc. etc. Or at least have Tempo not try to mark all hours as billable so that people have to think about it before they enter the billable hours value.
We are also seeking more control and/or logic to apply to time logged on tasks. Please help!!
Hi,
We are interested as well :) If you find out, please let us know here the solution/work around
Thanks
