Link to commit from JIRA

I would like to link to Stash commits from within a JIRA issue, without changing the message of the commit.

For example, maybe I want to say "this bug was caused by this commit".

Does JIRA support that, or will I just have to add a link that requires page navigation to see any details.

Hi Paul,

Stash links commits by scanning for JIRA keys in the commit message. Neither Stash nor JIRA currently allows you to set up the link manually.

There is an open issue that is somewhat related to your question: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/STASH-3628. Perhaps you can add a comment there and vote for the issue?
