Linked Validator does not seem to work

Hi,

I have a workflow where I do not want an issue to go into progress in a specific project if it has not been linked to an issue in any other project.

Validator: Linked Validator

Project: Project x

Issue Type: Backlog Item

Linked Type: Child-issue

Status: In Progress

Wen I transition the issue into "In Progress" without any linked items, it still goes into progress.  Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Where are you getting the validator from?  It's not a native one.
