Linked issue mandatory impossible

Hi, 

I cannot get the linked issues to be mandatory. They are set in the field scheme and everything is done correctly, we even see that little red star but the field in it self is still not mandatory.

I believe putting a "Field has been modified Validator" on the desired transition transition would do what you are looking for.
