Linking Projects in same Jira Instance

I want to link 2 Projects together.  How?

I want one to be the Planning project(with Initiative) and the other to be a Kanban project which links the Epics to Initiative?  Im new to Jira so struggling to do this

Hi Lee,

There's no linking between projects - Projects are mostly containers for issues and concentrate on schemes that tell the project how to handle the issues in it.

But boards, Initatives, Epics and so on are not much project bound - they are intended to be cross-project.

You will not have a problem with having a planning project and a separate development one.
