Links from external solution uses _self instead of _blank

Sometime within the last week something shifted, we import links to fields from ERP, previously these links were target=_blank and they would target a new tab in browser, now its changed to _self swapping current tab from Jira to external link, kinda annoying.

Ive checked with the dev, claiming he only sends the URL, no HTML

Suggestions?
