Are there any custom fields that depend on the issue type? If a user creates custom fields, do they depend on the issue type? If yes, please provide a list of all custom fields that can be added based on the issue type. For example if user is creating any string type custom field

When you create global custom fields (under Settings > issues > Custom Fields), by default it's context is global which means it is available for all issue types in all projects.
If required, you can restrict it to specific projects and issue types later by modifying its context.
If custom field is created under team-managed project, it is confined to that project only.

Thanks for your response. The cloud has introduced a new UI, which initially made it difficult for me to locate the option to enable custom fields. I noticed that custom fields were enabled for some issue types but not all. After exploring the new UI, I realized that I need to enable custom fields manually for each issue type.
