Listeners for workflow transitions

Hi All,

We are trying to write a custom listener that would be triggered whenever a workflow transition is occurring. We want to implement a check at the time of workflow transitions but using IssueType Event it is not happening. 

Can you please suggest if there are any other event listeners that could be used?

No we are calling it by writing a separate class in plugin.
