Hello,
I have a problem to login to Jira.
I have local server with containered crowd(3.2), confluence(6.8.1) and jira(7.9.0) on Docker environment. (Ubuntu 18.04)
I can access crowd and confluence but cannot log in to jira.
on the crowd, there is no jira on crowd>Current sessions menu.
In the application menu, there is jira and checked as 'Active'.
I also done Authentication test with my Id and it saids 'Successful verification'.
However, when I try to login to Jira, it just says 'sorry there is an error while sign-in. Please try it again'<kind of this sentence (I translated it from Korean, so it might be different from exact message in English)
This PC was broken and just changed main board.
Please let me know if there is any idea, or if you need further question.
Thank you so much! :)
Best wishes,
JESuh
Hi @서정은 ,
my suggestion is to start JIRA in recovery mode in order to setup JIRA/Crowd integration and application access in the right way.
Here an useful how to to recovery access in jira https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/restore-passwords-to-recover-admin-user-rights-972329273.html
Hope this helps,
Fabio
Dear Fabio,
Hello, Thank you for the reply! :)
I wanted to try this method, but I couldn't found install directory of jira...I run it via docker, and tried to access with the following command:
sudo docker exec -i -t --user root containerid /bin/bash
but it also failed... with this kind of error:
OCI runtime exec failed: exec failed: container_linux.go:380: starting container process caused: exec: "/bin": permission denied: unknown
I think there is some problem to jira to get user info from external directory provided by crowd server, but I'm new to atlassian SW and it's bit hard to solve this problem.
I'll try to find the way how can I recover admin ID...
Thank you so much again :)
Best wishes,
JESuh
