Looking for Search field or a button on Create Screen to search existing records.

Hi Team,

I have a requirement on url field, we have a URL field when user adds url on field the entered URL exist on previously created tickets it should throw an error saying that URL exists and share Key of that ticket. If entered URL is not present ticket can be created. Can you please suggest how can full fill the requirement and let me know any supported addons. Thanks

There isn’t an OOTB solution for this within the Create action. One thought that I have would be to use automation to find issues with the same value after the issue has been created. I found this similar post not exactly the same but the concept is you might play with that - Automation-for-JIRA-condition-to-find-tickets-from-a-specific-value 

If addons are an option possible solutions for the create might (?) be Scriptrunner, Power Scripts, etc.
